Worth It

Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies Proverbs 31:10 (KJV).

Share a lesson you wish you had learned earlier in life.

I wish my parents had taught me how much I am worth in the eyes of God. If I had known that I am His favorite child, I would not have given myself away to get love and attention. I would not have carried shame and self-hatred for years until the washing of water and the Power of the Holy Spirit changed me.

I know now that she who was me is not anymore. I have no desire for old things or old me. I am a Daughter of the Most High God. When I meet other women who do not understand their worth, I want to tell them that they are worthy of more, more life, more love, more laughter, more joy.

This is a different life, a life of right choices and truth. I really like the lady in the mirror. I have learned to have thick hedges and high walls. I am a treasure of the King, to be guarded and shared very carefully. My worth is far above rubies.
