What are your favorite animals?

I go for special works of art and color. I like to watch species that have pizzazz or appear to have taken the Creator more time to make. The fiery-throated hummingbird is my top pick because both he and his lady are brightly colored. Most ladybirds are blah because they hide eggs, but not this proud little mama. She’s fine, and she knows it.

The veiled chameleon is a quiet little bugger, but he has lots of likes as one of the world’s most popular pets. Some creative folks have helped him to keep on trend, updating his look to all sorts of strange colors. Mr. Chameleon is comfortable in the limelight, but he misses his wild family who still live in the Arabian Peninsula.

Rosy the maple moth is a high flyer in yellow and pink (my favorite color). Rosy is a marvel and a beauty who grows like a butterfly. As a caterpillar, she eats maple leaves. That’s why she lives near maple trees in Canada and the U.S. Her cool factor is that though she may live for nine whole months, her adult self doesn’t eat. I could never be her. Groceries make me happy. ๐

These little-bitty pink orchid mantes can change shades of pink to hide out in real orchids and look just like the flower. Mantes morph to stalk and eat other bugs, which is pretty and smart, a killer in pink.

Picked purely for his plum purple plumage, I purely adore Mr. Starling. He is a real-deal royal African king, helping his lovematch feed their young family in their high fencepost nest. He knows the secret to fatherhood. Real men don’t leave. I believe God made all things many colors in His awesome creativity. If you were the Master Artist with the pallet and brush, who could see the whole world at the same time, would you paint all like beings the same color? I wouldn’t. I would make lots of colors and sign them with my Name. The Master Artist has signed me with His name.
