King's Daughter's Kitchen

My pink POOH fleece hoodie with little Pooh sporting a blue scarf on my right hip is my favorite thing to wear. It’s so warm and soft. The word pooh expresses perfectly how I feel about life sometimes, just pooh. My hoody is so comfy. It makes me happy.

My second favorite thing to wear is my hair. I haven’t cut it in fifteen years. I also stopped coloring it. For years, I colored it red because my husband liked it like that. When he moved to Senior Care, I colored it black to cover the red. Now, I am me, my authentic self, no color, and my hair is growing in gray and white. I wear it at my crown in a knotted bun with combs on both sides. For church I put on curling cream and tie socks in it for curlers at night. Then, I take out the socks, spray it with hairpray in the morning, pop on a headband with color and go. My hair is my crown of glory.
