Clean Inside

What are your feelings about eating meat?

I am a not a total vegetarian. I would describe myself better as a clean eater on a Bible-based diet. I don’t eat most of the Standard American Diet, S.A.D. For me, that means no chicken, beef, pork, turkey, corn, or corn syrup, wheat, rye, barley, bleached rice, or cow’s milk. Cow’s milk is for cows. People’s milk is for people. We people are mostly naturally made of water, but few of us get enough of it.

When I shop, I buy as close to nature as I can get it. I make my own foods for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and only go out to eat when my son comes to town about three times a year.

I do eat duck eggs, bison,  ocean-caught fish that had scales (Leviticus 11:9-10), and lamb, but not often. I try to stay on the outside aisles of live foods in the store and not go down the fake-food middle.

It is not up to me to criticize anyone who eats differently from me. If someone invites me to their home for dinner, I would accept and graciously enjoy the meal and the company.
